Es Jahano Door Kitte Chal Jindiye Movie Review: Story, Screenplay & Dialogues

The movie “Es Jahano Door Kitte Chal Jindiye” tells the story of Mehtab Singh, played by Jass Bajwa, who leaves his mother behind during the 1988 Punjab insurgency and travels to the UK in search of a better life. Along the way, he meets Teji, played by Kulwinder Billa, and Siffat, played by Aditi Dev Sharma, who are also illegal migrants trying to survive for their families. Gurpreet Ghuggi and Rupinder Rupi, who have been settled in the UK for a long time, are not happy with their surroundings. The movie follows their individual journeys and the stories that unfold.

Based on true events, the plot has some promising moments but falls short of making them truly glorious. While the story is strung together, the writer, Jagdeep Warring, missed an opportunity to tie a better knot on the thread.

The screenplay, on the other hand, is well-executed, with the back-and-forth narrative presented beautifully to captivate the audience. The dialogues given to each character are impactful, making the audience applaud multiple times throughout the movie.

Es Jahano Door Kitte Chal Jindiye Movie Review: Acting

Jass Bajwa’s performance as Mehtab Singh, also known as Jass Bajwa, in the movie is truly unforgettable. His excellent dialogue delivery and in-depth understanding of the character make him stand out as a true Sikh gentleman.

Gurpreet Ghuggi and Neeru Bajwa never fail to impress the audience and once again, they have won hearts with their outstanding acting skills. Kulwinder Billa and Aditi Dev Sharma’s performances are also brilliant on the silver screen.

Each character plays their part flawlessly, and the way they support each other on the big screen is impressive. Overall, the acting in the movie is outstanding, and every actor has given their best to bring their characters to life.

Es Jahano Door Kitte Chal Jindiye Movie Review: Music

The music in the movie beautifully complements the emotions portrayed on screen. With six songs in total, “Maye Ni” sung by Bir Singh stands out as the best one, hitting an emotional chord and concluding the first half of the movie on a poignant note.

However, a few songs were unnecessary and disrupted the pace and emotions of the film. Despite this, the background score was decent and added to the overall atmosphere of the movie.

Es Jahano Door Kitte Chal Jindiye Movie Review: The Last Word

In Last Word, “Es Jahano Door Kitte Chal Jindiye” is a must-watch movie that has multiple elements to keep the audience engaged. The movie not only provides entertainment but also delivers a moral message.

Despite its weak conclusion and few unnecessary songs, the movie is a great watch for everyone. Its plot and concept are well-presented and make for a compelling story. Based on these factors, Indian Paper Ink gives the movie 4 out of 5 stars.
