The Kerala Story Box Office: Adah Sharma’s Film Crosses 200 Crores Net Collection

The Kerala Story continues to impress at the box office, crossing the 200 crores net collection mark in a remarkable feat. The film had a fantastic third weekend, raking in around 27 crores net and bringing its total collection to over ₹ 198.97 crores in just 17 days.

Directed by Sudipto Sen, “The Kerala Story” is set to achieve the milestone of crossing 200 crores net today, becoming only the second Bollywood and Indian movie of 2023 to reach this remarkable feat. The highest-grossing Indian film of the year so far is Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster “Pathaan,” which has amassed over 540 crores net.

Renowned film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the exciting news on Twitter, emphasizing the film’s achievement. “The Kerala Story” has emerged as a box office powerhouse, garnering massive popularity and earning a dedicated fan base. With its consistent performance, the film has surpassed expectations and solidified its position as one of the top-grossing Bollywood films of the year.

Not only is “The Kerala Story” performing exceptionally well domestically, but it is also the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year at the worldwide box office. It has grossed over 240 crores worldwide, surpassing the lifetime total of “Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar,” which collected 223 crores gross.

With a domestic gross of approximately 235 crores and an overseas collection of around 7.50 crores through the third Sunday, “The Kerala Story” is on track to surpass the 300 crores worldwide gross mark. This would solidify its position as one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters of all time in terms of box office returns.
