After actor Karan Johar’s hosting stint in the first season, the makers have roped in superstar Salman Khan to take over as the host for the upcoming season. According to a report by News18, Salman Khan has already shot the first promo for the show.
The promo shoot took place in Mumbai today, and the show is expected to go on-air in June. The report mentioned that Salman Khan agreed to host Bigg Boss OTT due to his love for the show. The preparations for the promo shoot are underway, and the team is also in the process of finalizing the contestants, although there has been no official confirmation from the makers yet.
In other news, singer and television host Aditya Narayan has been approached for Bigg Boss OTT Season 2. The makers are reportedly in talks with him to convince him to join the show. Actor Fahmaan and Rajeev Sen, brother of Sushmita Sen, have also been approached and are in discussions with the makers.
Additional potential participants include comedian Munawar Faruqui, Gulshan (brother of Archana Gautam), actors Jiya Shankar and Paras Arora, who have been seen together in the show ‘Kaatelal and Sons.’ However, the official confirmation of the final contestant list is yet to be announced.
The first season of Bigg Boss OTT was a huge success, with Splitsvilla participant Divya Agarwal emerging as the winner and garnering a massive online viewership.
Apart from his Bigg Boss hosting duties, Salman Khan has been busy with his film projects. He was last seen in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ alongside Pooja Hegde, which was a commercial success despite receiving mixed reviews. The actor’s next project is ‘Tiger 3,’ where he will be seen opposite Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Additionally, there are speculations about a cameo by actor Shah Rukh Khan in the film.
