Actress Jyotika has officially joined the star cast of the much-awaited Hindi remake of the Gujarati family-entertainment film ‘Vash’. ETimes had earlier confirmed that Ajay Devgn will lead the project, and now it has been announced that Jyotika will play a pivotal role alongside R Madhavan and Ajay Devgn himself. The film marks the return of Jyotika to Hindi cinema after a remarkable 25 years.
Directed by talented filmmaker Vikas Bahl, the shooting of ‘Vash’ remake is all set to begin this June. The production will commence an extensive shooting schedule in Mumbai, Mussoorie and London. The original Gujarati film, released in 2023, featured an ensemble cast including Hiten Kumar, Hitu Kanodia, Janaki Bodiwala, Neelam Panchal and Aryan Sanghvi in lead roles.
The remake is being produced by the esteemed trio of Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under the banners of Ajay Devgn Ffilms and Panorama Studios.
