About OMG 2
OMG 2 is an Indian Hindi language comedy-drama film, released on 11 August 2023. The film is written and directed by Amit Rai. It is a spiritual sequel to OMG – Oh My God! (2012). It stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam and Arun Govil as lead characters. Other popular actors who were roped in for OMG 2 are Kabir Sadanand, Rajiv Kachroo, Fahim Fazli, Vedika Nawani and Shriidhar Dubey.
The film follows Kanti Sharan Mudgal (Kumar), a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva, who is forced to question his faith when his son is falsely accused of a crime and expelled from school. Kanti decides to take on the school and the religious leaders who have been exploiting people’s faith, and he soon finds himself on a journey that will change his life forever.
