Despite a sluggish start on its opening day, the film managed to collect Rs 1.27 crore at the box office. According to Taran Adarsh, a film trade analyst, Rani Mukerji’s film Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway had a slow start at the box office on its opening day, earning only Rs 1.27 crore on Friday. This number is lower than the earnings of her previous release Bunty Aur Babli 2 during the pandemic, which earned Rs 2.60 crore. However, the film might pick up pace over the weekend due to a decent word of mouth from critics and Bollywood actors like Shah Rukh Khan.

Based on the struggles of Sagarika Bhattacharya, the film is directed by Ashima Chhibber. At the same time, it has been produced by Nikhil Advani, Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani. Made at a cost of around 25 crores, the film has managed to take a decent start on the opening day. Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway has registered a decent presence amongst multiple films releasing simultaneously on 17th March.
