After a super-successful run for ‘Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva’ in the theatres, director Ayan Mukerji has announced not one, but two sequels to his upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’. Ayan Mukerji announced that both parts of the trilogy will be shot together and released on separate dates, with ‘Brahmastra 2’ slated for release in 2026 and ‘Brahmastra 3’ in 2027.
Ayan Mukerji also revealed that he will be helming another exciting project, leaving fans eagerly awaiting more details.
Starring real-life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, the film has been in the making for quite some time now and has generated a lot of buzz amongst moviegoers. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
Produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Ayan Mukerji, ‘Brahmastra’ is said to be a fantasy adventure film with an epic storyline. The film’s music, composed by Pritam, has already garnered much attention, with the track ‘Ae Bhai Zara Dekh Ke Chalo’ becoming a hit amongst fans.
