Union minister Anurag Thakur called on BJP members to renew their pledge to remove the “corrupt and anarchist Arvind Kejriwal government” from Delhi and the country in the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections. He stated that he campaigned during the MCD elections and saw that the magic of the Kejriwal government has waned among citizens. He urged to take the Modi government’s work to the people and be sure that victory will be theirs, first in 2024, and then in 2025.
In other news, Delhi University has set up a seven-member committee to “enforce discipline and maintain law and order in the University” and investigate the incidents of January 27. This follows the detainment of students from Delhi University’s Arts Faculty over attempted screenings of the BBC documentary “India: The Modi Question” on January 27, similar disruptions also took place at Jawaharlal Nehru University and Jamia Millia Islamia earlier this week over the same documentary.
